Lost Island is the home of many strange and wondrous creatures as it presents itself as one of the largest land masses of the Arks. The land is separated into regions by bustling jungles with Aztec ruins, sprawling plains, towering mountains, and snow dressed cliffs and a scorching desert. Resources are spread out and shared across these vast and unique areas, which home many new and interesting creatures. The inquisitive Sinomacrops, aggressive Amargasaur, and troops of Dinopithecus call this map home. A great map for one to soothe their love for exploration and caves, and for those seeking the thrill of danger.

Primitive Plus enhances the gameplay of regular Ark Survival Evolved by adding new game mechanics and over 100 custom primitive items. Players are challenged to use primarily wood and stone without the benefit of advanced metals. The items and mechanics focus the players on 'primitive' survival. Among the new items are three new building material types (lumber, glass, and brick) as well as new resources, food items, weapons, traps, crafting stations and decorative structures. Players be aware that this game mode is known for its bugs and issues. Play at your own risk.
